Mitigate the stiffness repetitive actions and years of abuse brought while you were busy living. Reflexology isn’t just for the feet - the hands hold much more than just what we put in them but they carry things we do not intend, as well.
This service begins with the hands cleansed, painted with Great Lakes clay from the glacial deposits of Michigan, and wrapped in heat. From there the optional scalp massage works down into your shoulders — our muscles do not work alone, but in concert, and relaxing the shoulder helps to relax the arm and hand. Flowing down one arm, all the way down to the hand the clay is removed with warm towels, and a salve made from Chaga, curated and made with care by local herbalists, is worked into each finger and joint. The palm is massaged, each little metacarpal paid attention to, before moving back up to the forearm and back up to the shoulders, to flow down the other side for the same care and intention. Finishing at the shoulders or, alternatively, the scalp.

Sole searching and foot rubbing - the entire reason I knew I could be a massage therapist - we’re taking all the little piggies to market and none of them are going to be crying after this work.
To begin, your feet are gently cleansed, painted with Great Lakes mineral clay from Michigan, wrapped, and enveloped in heated slippers. I work both legs up to the knee, together and individually. Then we get into the foot work. Starting with the left foot, the clay is removed with warm towels and a salve made from St. John’s Wort salve hand made in Benzie County is worked with specificity into every joint, every pressure point… we’re connecting the toes to the foot and all the way up - loosening connective tissue and relaxing all those tight, small, aching muscles that literally carry the weight of our own world. We carry that work back up to the leg, and then move over to the right foot and repeat this glorious experience.
